Welcome To The New Local Access Page

One of the biggest sources of frustration for horse owners is limited access to the countryside on horseback. Whether it's access to Bridleways, Forestry Commission Land, Beaches or other routes, there are limited routes afforded, at the moment, by landowner's permission or access rights won through constant use.

The BHS has been campaigning for many years on our behalf for better access for horse & rider. They have succeeded in creating a greater awareness towards better facilities for equestrian use.

However it is also up to us to campaign for better access in our area.

Are you aware of any access issues in your area?  Below is a list of current issues, if you would like to send me information of any access routes in dispute, it can be included here.

If we all make the relevant authorities aware of how passionate we are about gaining
better access for horse and rider, maybe we can make a difference.

If you'd like to be added to an emailing list for updates & information
please contact me on mail@phil-price.com.
(Your details will not be passed on to other organisations, businesses or individuals unless by permission.)
